None of the emails that I recieve or send show the correct time that they are sent or recieved. The date is correct but everything I am recieving now has a time of 7:oo pm or later on them. The time on my computer is correct so it has something to do with my hotmail account but I can not locate anything that allows me to correct this. Can anyone help me with correcting the time in hotmail?

Go to http://account.live.com and set your location and time zone.

Hello

I have the same problem as Michele, so I tried your 'fix'. Went to "settings/profiles/edit your account profile/registered info" and entered my time zone. Re-booted computer. Made absolutely no difference - time shown on emails is still 7 hours ahead of actual time. Any other suggestions??

Rebooting should not be needed. The setting is a display setting for Hotmail in
your profile. Where are your emails showing the GMT setting instead of your
local time?

Stephan,

For some reason the display 'adjustment' took a while to take effect, because I checked today (sent myself an email from another account) and the time is now correct. Thanks again for your help!

Excellent and glad that it is resolved for you. I guess you didn't want to live
in the future. :-)
