Error Installing Media Center Extender

PLEASE HELP. I'm tring to install windows media center extender to use with my xbox and I keep getting to same setup error message. It tells me to uninstall the update to window media center and reinstall and try again. I have do that many time but no luck but no luck. I have Window Media Center 2005 so I should beable to do this. If anyone has an answer please help.
